Honest status: GTA 6 launches on 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Until then, nobody can confirm GTA 6 cheat codes. The codes on this site are the GTA V codes we expect to return, and each one is marked Unconfirmed: based on GTA V. We will test every code on launch day and update each card with the result and the test date.

How to enter cheat codes in GTA 6

Here is how cheats worked in GTA V on console. We expect GTA 6 to use the same method and will update this section after testing on launch day.

  1. Start or load your story mode game and walk around normally. Cheats are entered during gameplay, not in a menu.
  2. Press the buttons in the exact order shown on the card. Use the D-pad for Up, Down, Left and Right.
  3. Enter the sequence quickly and without pausing for too long between buttons.
  4. If it worked, a message like “Cheat activated” is expected to appear on screen (this is how it worked in GTA V).

GTA 6 PC cheat codes

Rockstar has not announced a PC version of GTA 6. That means there are no GTA 6 PC cheat codes yet, and any website listing “confirmed” PC codes is guessing. In GTA V on PC, cheats were typed into a cheat box or dialled on the in-game phone, so a future PC version will likely have its own list. We will add it once a PC version exists and codes can be tested.

Not confirmed yet. Every main Grand Theft Auto game so far has had cheat codes, and GTA V shipped with a full list. GTA 6 releases on 19 November 2026, and codes can only be confirmed once people can play it. This page lists the GTA V codes that are expected to return, clearly marked as unconfirmed.

When will GTA 6 cheat codes be confirmed?

From launch day, 19 November 2026. We will test each code in the game and change its label to “Verified in GTA 6” (with the test date and platform) or mark it as changed or not available.

Are these the same as the GTA V cheat codes?

Yes. Right now every code on this page is a GTA V console code. Rockstar has re-used many cheats across games, so these are the most likely candidates, but they may be different in GTA 6.

Will GTA 6 have PC cheat codes?

Rockstar has not announced a PC version of GTA 6. It is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. There are no GTA 6 PC cheat codes, and we will not publish made-up ones.

Do cheats work in GTA 6 Online?

Unknown until launch. In GTA V, cheat codes only worked in story mode and did nothing in GTA Online. We expect GTA 6 to work the same way. Using hacks or mod menus online can get accounts banned.

Will cheats disable trophies or achievements?

In GTA V, entering a cheat turned off trophies and achievements for that play session. We expect something similar in GTA 6 but will confirm it after launch. See our trophies and achievements guide.
